On October 14, 2022, in Microsoft Teams the Informational event "Erasmus Day" was held. The event was organized by the Educational and Scientific Institute of International Education, in particular the Director of Institute, Andrii Lotariev, Head of International Office, Anna Drobyna, Project Manager Maryna Yevchenko.

Students of various programs and levels of study had the opportunity to receive the information about mobility (exchange) programs implemented by "KROK" University, learn about the selection procedure and universities offered for selection for next semester, and get the overview about the scholarship programs. The event gathered more than 40 participants!

14 October 2022

On October 14, 2022, Halyna Bohachenko, Director of International Project Office of Educational and Scientific Institute of International Education of «KROK» University, presented Erasmus+ projects at Freie Universität Berlin, Germany.

Participants of the events received information about Erasmus+ Capacity Building of Higher Education, such as: INTERADIS, MEDIATS, CLIMAN and СОOPERA, implemented and co-coordinated by «KROK» University. They also learned about cooperation opportunities, projects’ main goals and objectives, expected results.

The event was attended by the representatives of partner Universities, who had the opportunity to learn more about organization of future cooperation and to put questions.

We are very thankful to our partner University for a kind offer of cooperation. It is sure to be a success!

14 October 2022

On October 10-14, 2022, 10 students of "KROK" University took part in a week-long workshop within the framework of the "Social responsibility of young entrepreneurs and sustainable development" project, which was held at WSB University, Dąbrowa Górnicza, Poland, with the support of the Polish-Ukrainian Youth Exchange Council.

Various workshops and lectures from leading experts were also combined with practical experience, as students visited the Center for Local Initiatives, Open Hearts Association and LiberTea Association. The participants also managed to visit the city council of Dąbrowa Górnicza, where they learned how Polish civil servants work on the social responsibility of young entrepreneurs and the sustainable development of the city.

On the last day, teams of Ukrainian and Polish students presented their sustainable development project ideas.

We thank the WSB University for the opportunity to participate in the project, and the students for their active participation in it!

On October 3-5, 2022, Anna Drobyna, Head of International Office, and Maryna Yevchenko, Project Manager, participated in the 5th Forum for Internationalization of Higher Education InterUni2022, Dobrowa Gornicza, Poland. The topic of this year's forum was: "Sustainable university – engagement of students as responsible leaders of towmorrow”. The event was held in online and offline formats. Representatives of partner higher educational institutions from Ukraine, Georgia, Algeria, Albania, Armenia and Vietnam visited the WSB University campus.

The participants of the forum also had the opportunity to witness the inauguration of the academic year at the WSB University and took part in official events together with the freshmen.

We thank our Polish partners for their strong support of Ukraine in this difficult time and for the opportunity to continue our path towards the internationalization of higher education!

The heads of job and career centers from ten HEIs of Kyiv, Lviv and Kharkiv joined together to help today's youth in this difficult time to successfully start their careers.

From November 8 to 10, 2022, more than 2,000 registered participants, 25 hours spent online, 36 leading companies of Ukraine from various industries in the framework of workshops, HR consultations and business games had the opportunity to communicate with students, participants and present employment opportunities, internship programs, development in their companies.

More than 60 vacancies for university students and graduates were submitted. On the last day of the All-Ukrainian, inter-university career event «Time to work!», representatives of Сareer Centers presented their programs of cooperation with employers. Oleksandr Karlov, Director of Career Development Center, Chairman of Alumni Association of «KROK» University, spoke on behalf of «KROK» University. He spoke about the practical implementation of COOPERA (#COOPERA project — the integration of dual higher education in Moldova and Ukraine, in which «KROK» University plays the role of a national coordinator.

On September 26, 2022, the traditional semester online meeting of the administration with students of English-taught programs of "KROK" University took place. The meeting was organized by: Andrii Lotariev, Director of Educational and Scientific Institute of International Education, Iryna Kolesnyk, Head of International Business Department, Anna Drobyna, Head of International Office, Maryna Yevchenko, Project Manager of International Office, Coordinator of English-taught programs.

The event was attended by students of the 2nd-4th years of studies of the following majors: "Management" (English-taught program), "International Business", as well as the 2nd-year Master’s students of "International Economic Relations" major, the educational program "Export-Oriented Management.

During the meeting, the students received information about the organization of educational process in 2022-2023 academic year, and also had the opportunity to ask the administration questions that concern them.

On September 23, 2022, the selection of students to participate in a week-long workshop within "Social responsibility of young entrepreneurs and sustainable development" project was conducted. The event will be held in Dąbrowa Górnicza, Poland, with the support of the Polish-Ukrainian Youth Exchange Council.

The selection consisted of an English language test, a motivation letter and an interview with the selection committee. The selection committee included: Andrii Lotariev, Director of Educational and Scientific Institute of International Education, Anna Drobyna, Head of international Office, Maryna Yevchenko, Project Manager of International Office. Also at the event were present: Iryna Kolesnyk, Head of International Business Department and Alina Holtseva, Acting Director of Students Affairs Department.

On September 20, 2022, a traditional meeting of the University and College administration with the student body took place online (Teams) and offline (the assembly hall of "KROK" University).

The meeting took place in the form of a friendly dialogue, during which the student activists had the opportunity to express their opinions and their own visions, as well as directly communicate with the administration, consisting of: Rector Andriii Kuchko, First Vice-Rector Nataliia Litvin, Vice-Rector for Scientific and Pedagogical Work (Legal Education ) Anatolii Frantsuz, Vice-Rector for Scientific and Pedagogical Work (Corporate Governance) Nataliia Nakonechna, College Director Liudmyla Sumbaieva, Director of Educational and Scientific Institutes of information and Communication Technologies Valentyn Rach, as well as Heads of departments.

Rector Andrii Kuchko emphasized that such meetings are an important component of improving the quality of education at the University and College.

Nataliia Litvin, First Vice-Rector, spoke in more details about the organization of the educational process in the online format.

Director of Student Office Liudmyla Slepenko congratulated students with the beginning of the academic year and reminded about the benefits of using the new application Telegram assistant.

Anna Drobyna, Head of International Office, provided students with the information on the international possibilities offered by “KROK” University, namely Erasmus+ ICM programs, bilateral exchanges, short-term scholarship programs. Also, Ms Anna presented the Buddy program, implemented at “KROK” University within INTERADIS/International Students Adaptation and Integration Project, and emphasized that new buddies are wanted, described the benefits of Buddy system.

Acting Director of the Department of Students Affairs Alina Holtseva announced upcoming student projects and events.

After the speeches of the representatives of the administration, students actively asked various questions, important for the student community. At the end of the meeting, Nataliia Nakonechna once again emphasized the fact that "KROK" University is a territory of honesty, openness, anti-corruption and student-centeredness.

In September 2022, a coworking zone, which was equipped within the INTERADIS/International Students Adaptation and Integration project, began operating at “KROK” University.

The room will be used for various cultural and information events, networking, as a place for communication between Ukrainian and International students. Moreover, foreign applicants may fill out the application forms here, order certificates online, and get personal consultations on admission.

Students can also use the equipment in this room to join online classes, do the assignments, projects, etc. From September 1, 2022, a free wi-fi zone is available in the room. The coworking zone is equipped with computers and a beamer. If necessary, students have the opportunity to take the laptops at the Educational and Scientific Institute of International Education.

On August 8-12, 2022, Jan van Zwieten, Rector of the Netherlands Business Academy, together with Jan Thomas van Zwieten, Manager of NLBA, visited «KROK» University.

In order to disseminate the values of mediation into Ukrainian society, prof. van Zwieten conducted an open practical training for interested persons, where participants received theoretical information about mediation, learned about the experience of the Netherlands and were able to practice the skills of mediator.

During the visit, experts from Netherlands had meetings with the teams of Educational and Scientific Institute of International Education, KROK Business School and discussed implementation of Master degree program «Mediation and Conflict Management», maintenance of the mediators' register and students’ certification. Jan van Zwieten reviewed training materials of the program and provided useful recommendations. The participants discussed the sustainability of the project and further initiatives in the field of mediation.
