The aim of the project is to provide students and young people who are not studying with access to a new level of international and cross-cultural and inclusive education through the implementation of virtual exchanges on the art of negotiation and mediation in EU countries, Georgia and Ukraine to enhance democracy, cultural diversity and objective problem resolution by acquiring best European practices.
Specific Project Objectives:
- To conduct trainings for youth workers and University representatives on critical thinking, negotiation, and mediation skills development.
- To develop and implement online-course “The Art of Negotiation and Conflict Resolution (Mediation)”.
- To conduct a set of virtual activities for students and youth.
- To establish sustainable cross-cultural communication network in EU countries, Georgia and Ukraine,
- To reduce level of conflicts in Ukrainian and Georgian societies through sharing mediation values
Activities:
- Dissemination and exploitation (Organizing of the dissemination campaign);
- Developing training programs both for students and youth, and for Universities’ staff and youth workers (Developing and conducting of 2 blocks of trainings);
- Conducting virtual trainings, workshops, mediation simulations, negotiation fights, final dissemination conference;
- Organizing of the virtual visits to partner universities for exchange of experience, etc.;
- Enrolling of 3 cohorts of students and youth to the online-course;
- Conducting of study visits to partner universities;
- Formation of the communication network for students and youth;
Project beneficiaries:
- University’s students;
- Non-studying youth;
- University staff;
- Youth workers (up to 2000 persons in general).
The project is co-funded by the European Union.
