On the Day of Holy Protection, Day of the Defender of Ukraine and Day of the Ukrainian Cossacks, foreign students got acquainted with the traditional Ukrainian culture. On the territory of the open air museum they saw the exterior and interior of the Ukrainian hut, the yards of the hosts, domestic animals, fences and ponds. Thanks to the realia (an oven, a bench, a cradle, bowls, pots, jugs etc.) students were able to feel like the real inhabitants of the Cossack village.

Communication with Ukrainian visitors at «Mamaieva Sloboda» inspired foreigners to learn and speak Ukrainian more.
