The aim of the Conference was to present the experiences of the two Jean Monnet Centers in Ukraine in Kyiv and Donetsk to wider community, to discuss the modern challenges of cooperation between the EU and Ukraine; to analyze the progress of integration of the Ukrainian academia into the European Higher Education Area and to promote the Jean Monnet Programme’s ideas and goals.
Ukraine participates in Jean Monnet Programme since 2001. Jean Monnet Actions are implemented under ERASMUS+ Programme since 2014and aim to support activities carried out by institutions and associations active in the field of European Union studies.
Jean Monnet supports institutions that enhance teacher and training activities on European Union subjects at the postgraduate level and/or for other relevant stakeholders. It also fosters activities aimed at elaborating, analysing and popularizing European Union subjects and their teaching.
