The participants of the EU-funded Erasmus+ project MEDIATS: academic staff/lecturers of Master Degree Program in Mediation of «KROK» University and «KROK» Business School Svitlana Stadnyk, Oleh Tryboi, Anna Zubachova, Project and Program Manager of «KROK» Business School Oksana Siedashova as well as Deputy Dean of Law Faculty PhD in Law Inna Dolianovska, continued the training on mediation, the first part of which was held in Riga (Latvia) 9-13 December 2019. The training was developed on the basis of the program of the Netherlands Business Academy (NLBА), supplemented with the experience of Turiba University, Latvia, and UCAM, Spain, included theoretical and practical parts. After the training participants received the certificates. Congratulations to all the participants!

In parallel another activity was held. Andrii Lotariev, Head of International Office of «KROK» University and Halyna Bohachenko, Project and Program Manager, participated in the study visit, which included the University tour, learning of processes and envrironment of mediation in Spain, project management meetings. The participants visited the Mediation Association Center and the House of Justice of Murcia, College of Law. Representatives of «KROK» University held talks on the preparation of joint projects with UCAM, studied their experience in working with international students, managing of the international projects, developing of joint programs, planning of future activities and dissemination of project results.

The project «Mediation: Training and Society Transformation (MEDIATS)» aims to help universities to become key players in facilitating of mediation processes in Azerbaijan, Georgia and Ukraine in order to strengthen democracy and objective problem resolution by acquiring the best European practices.

Project objectives:

• development and implementation of the Master Degree Program in Mediation;
• creation of the Mediation Federations in Azerbaijan, Georgia, Ukraine and ensuring of their sustainable development;
• promotion and dissemination of mediation values within the society.

Project duration: 15 November 2018 – 14 November 2021.
