Today, Ukraine, together with European countries, is trying to improve the effectiveness of sociological research and to facilitate access to data and metadata across borders. An internship at a think tank is a great opportunity to try your hand at analytical research. 3rd year students majoring in «Computer Science» are participating in a distance-learning program initiated by the Social Indicators Survey Center of Kyiv International Institute of Sociology. It’s a part of the ERIC CESSDA meta-European project (15+ countries). The first task for students was to prepare a press release according to the Public Opinion Survey on Stressful Situations in the Lives of Ukrainians, conducted by Kyiv International Institute of Sociology in December 2019. The result of the collaboration was published in the newspaper «Hromada» (№ 27, San Francisco, February 2020).
We congratulate the students who, under the guidance of Anna Pylypenko, Head of Department of Mathematical Methods and Statistics, worked on the graphics and analytics of this publication: Anastasiia Umnova, Kyrylo Krot, Olha Homon!
