The project aims at using the joint experience of the United States and Ukraine to develop and implement a four-year action plan, the content of which is to guide and train students, lecturers and administrators of educational institutions of practical value and importance of academic integrity, providing resources and action plan for their close involvement strengthening academic integrity in the educational environment.

The project will involve the Ministry of Education and Science of Ukraine to enable key operational innovations to support sustainable change in Ukraine's education at the national level. The initiators, executors and partners of the Project consider the formation of academic culture in general and academic integrity as its component in particular as an important component of the transformation of the Ukrainian educational system.

The mission of the Project is to form a new academic culture, which will be based on trust, honesty, transparency, real learning, real scientific work. Its main direction is to ensure systemic changes in Ukrainian education, which benefit all participants in the academic process - students and pupils, lecturers and teachers, universities and schools.
