Andrii Lotariev, Head of International Office of «KROK» University, presented the Erasmus + projects on capacity building of higher education implemented by «KROK» University: Mediation: Training and Society Transformation» MEDIATS, «International Students Adaptation and Integration» INTERADIS, «Synergy of educational, scientific, management and industrial components for climate management and climate change prevention» CLIMAN, «Integrating dual higher education in Moldova and Ukraine» COOPERA, and also shared important recommendations for their implementation.
The issues discussed during the seminar were as follows:
- Internationalization of Ukrainian education and science: challenges and prospects;
- The role of international activities and cooperation in the future of Ukraine;
- Experience in implementing international education programs in Ukrainian universities;
- Intercultural and educational centers as a tool for building sustainable partnerships.
In particular, the following experts spoke at the first panel meeting:
- Zhanna Talanova, Representative of the National Erasmus + Office in Ukraine, presented the EU Erasmus + Program as an internationalization tool for building quality education, its main innovations for 2021-2027, and provided recommendations for participation of Ukrainian educational institutions in international projects.
- Olena Shapovalova, Director of Ukrainian State Center for International Education at the Ministry of Education and Science of Ukraine, spoke about good practices and new tools in the education of international students in Ukraine.
- Nataliia Stukalo, Deputy Head of the National Agency for Higher Education Quality Assurance (NAQA), described the role of internationalization in ensuring the quality of higher education.
The event was attended by about 80 representatives of higher educational institutions, research institutions, professional and public associations, including the Erasmus + project team.
