On 29 May - 02 June 2023, Training and Project Steering Committee Meeting of the EU Erasmus+ project CLIMAN/ «Synergy of educational, scientific, management and industrial components for climate management and climate change prevention" was organized at Netherlands Business Academy.
«KROK» University was represented by Nataliia Litvin, First Vice -Rector, Andrii Lotariev, Director of Educational and Scientific Institute of International Education of «KROK» University, Galina Bogachenko, Director of International Project Office of Educational and Scientific Institute of International Education of «KROK» University, Liudmyla Sumbaieva, Director of Professional College of «KROK» University, Anna Chernovska, EcoLotos project activist, Valentyna Mandybura, teacher at Professional College of «KROK» University, took an active part at both activities.
During the training the workshops combining theory and practical assignments on the following topics were organized:
- Political basis and regulations in the EU (the introduction of SDG’s and its consequences, Treaty of Paris, Law on climate, climate treaty, Linear economy and circular economy,
- CO2 (Introduction of CO2 production ladder; Introduction to the company «COA» and sustainability strategy; Sustainability and Business Control).
- CSRD (Corporatie Sustainability Reporting Directive, Obligations 2025 by EU, Consequences for corporate world, Life cycle assessment, Case COA
- Integration of sustainability topic in business and tourism education, etc.
Visit to company MeesPierson investments (ABN) was organized, during it the aspects of consequences to investors behaviour on the stock markets, introduction to international investors behaviour, influence of SDG’s were discussed.
During the management sessions the partners discussed the state of implementation of the project, Progress report, challenges and plans for the nearest future, submission for the extension of the project, adding of the new partner, difficulties with travels for Ukrainian partners, organizational and content aspects of upcoming project meetings.
