On July 15, 2022, Andrii Lotariev, Director of Educational and Scientific Institute of International Education, and Anna Drobyna, Head of International Office, held the presentation of the educational programs of “KROK” University.

The event gathered more than 40 registered participants - students of the Preparatory course for foreign citizens, as well as external applicants interested in studying in Ukraine./p>

The participants of the event had the opportunity to learn more about "KROK" University, it’s English-taught programs at Bachelor and Master levels, the mobility and Double Degree programs, as well as to receive the consultations on migration issues./p>

On July 14, 2022, Andrii Lotariev, Director of Educational and Scientific Institute of International Education, was invited by Kozminski University (Warsaw, Poland), a long-time partner of “KROK” University, to give a speech at a meeting with Professor Asuka Tzusuki (Japan). Apart from "KROK" University, colleagues from Lviv Polytechnic National University were present at the event.

The main purpose of the meeting was to discuss the difficulties faced by the Ukrainian HEIs during the full-scale aggression of the Russian Federation against Ukraine, the assistance needed, etc. Speakers presented their higher educational institutions, outlined possible ways of cooperation between Ukrainian and Japanese HEIs.

We are grateful to Kozminski University (Poland) and Professor Asuka Tzusuki (Japan) for their interest in our country and willingness to help Ukrainian education!

On July 11, 2022, a virtual graduation ceremony was conducted for graduates (foreign citizens) of Program Subject Area: "Management" (English-taught program) and "International Economic Relations", Educational Program: "Export-Oriented Business".

Bachelor's Diplomas with honours and Merit Certificates in Recognition of Outstanding Academic Achievements were awarded to Suleiman-Zuntu Aisha and Ezeokoli Ekene David, graduates of Program Subject Area: "Management" (English-taught program).

Pournikdast Soheil, a graduate of Program Subject Area: "Management" (English-taught program), was also awarded with Merit Certificates in Recognition for Dedication, Hard Work and Support.

Congratulating words were given by: Andrii Lotariev, Director of Educational and Scientific Institute of International Education, Iryna Kolesnyk, Head of Department of International Business, Anna Drobyna, Head of International Office. There were also video greetings from Viktor Alkema, Head of Department of Management Technologies, and Oleksandra Liashenko, former Director of Educational and Scientific Institute of Management and Adult Education. The Vocal Band of "KROK" University congratulated the graduates with the song translated into English as "How not to love, my dear Kyiv".

We are glad that despite the difficult time for our country, we managed to organize a fancy event which was attended by the parents, friends, relatives, and children of our graduates!

Dear graduates, we are proud of you! We wish you to be brave like Ukraine, achieve your goals and have an easy way toward your new life!

July 11-15, 2022 5 days of modern concentrated knowledge on mediation and conflict resolution!

Conflict management skills are relevant in any field where people interact with people. You teach, deliver products or services, help solve problems, manage organizations, processes and people, agree, present - rest assured, there is always room for conflict. The world has developed technologies and tools to resolve successfully various conflicts. The International Summer Mediation School - 2022 dedicated to mastering the practical basics of mediation and conflict management. Participation in the International Summer Mediation School will provide information on the practical application of mediation and other conflict resolution methods.

Participation in the events will be useful for both experienced professionals and those who are just being acquainted with mediation.

On May 15, 2022, «KROK» University turned 30 years old! On this occasion, all staff of the University gathered online to celebrate the 30th anniversary of the founding of the University.

Despite this difficult time and historical challenges, all the participants of the online event were waiting for a lot of pleasure, and most importantly it is a family atmosphere, which was felt even through the screens of gadgets. After all, no matter how far we are, we are still #КРОКуємо30років!

It is known that «KROK» is a success story of people: students, lecturers, all employees. On the occasion of the solemn event, the founders of the University presented the badge "Honor" and the anniversary badge "Honor", which are awarded for outstanding personal contribution to the development of the University, many years of active research and educational activities, significant personal contribution to strengthening the financial position and infrastructure. methods and technologies of educational and research activities organization that have significantly improved the reputation of the University.

In addition, for personal contribution to the University, the KROK University Award was awarded to some staff.

We sincerely congratulate all KROK staff members on its 30th anniversary!

On May 11 – 13, 2022, in the charming city of Bled, Slovenia, a seminar for Program Managers - Program Management Seminar was organized by CEEMAN Association. A group of participants from 10 schools and 9 countries celebrated the return of the program management seminar after two years of online learning. Among the participants there was Olena Rudavka, Deputy Director of KROK Business School, who was the only participant from Ukraine.

The seminar is an intensive and highly interactive three-day exchange of experience designed to motivate project managers working in universities and business schools to perform their increasingly complex responsibilities more effectively. Classes included expert briefings, group discussions, case studies, and a lot of communication and experience sharing between participants.

Experienced business education practitioners and market experts were invited as trainers of the seminar, in particular:

  • Paul Mattissens, Professor of Strategic Management at the University of Antwerp and the Antwerp School of Management, Belgium and Professor of Global Business and Marketing at the University of Milan-Bicocca, Italy

On April 28, 2022, a selection of «KROK» University students for mobility programs with European higher education institutions was held online on Microsoft Teams.

The Selection Committee consisted of Andrii Lotariev, Head of International Office, Anna Drobyna, Project Manager, Maryna Yevchenko, Administration Manager and Iryna Pavlova, Student Manager of Student’s Office.

This time among the partners offering mobility programs for the next semester there were the universities of Poland, Hungary, Lithuania, Latvia, Italy, Germany, Turkey, Spain, Croatia and Austria.

On April 26, 2022, Andrii Lotariev, Head of International Office, and Anna Drobyna, Project Manager, took part in Open Day Event, organized by Businet network.

Businet is a network of international higher education institutions (both private and public universities and colleges) that share a common vision for the internationalization of their HEIs. Businet creates an environment that facilitates the exchange of best practices and encourages collaboration between like-minded organizations.

The purpose of Open Day Event was to demonstrate solidarity with Ukrainian educators during the difficult times of the war, to gather ideas for support of Ukrainian higher education institutions by European HEIs, to get acquainted with urgent problems faced by higher education in Ukraine. Moreover, Businet network offers free membership to Ukrainian HEIs in its network for at least three years.
