On June 23, 2023, the monitoring webinar «Governance, management and functioning of higher education institutions and the higher education system based on quality assurance, digitalization and inclusion» was held, organized by the National Erasmus+Office in Ukraine. The event gathered participants of the CBHE projects of the EU Erasmus+ Program, representatives of higher education institutions and scientific institutions.
The main goal of the webinar was to deepen the understanding of the impact of Erasmus+ on the development of management in higher education in the context of quality assurance, digitalization and inclusion; as well as improving the provision of synergy between Erasmus+ projects in the management cluster.
Welcome words were given by Oleh SHAROV, the Director General of the Directorate of Higher Education and Adult Education of the Ministry of Education and Science of Ukraine (Director General of the Directorate of Professional Pre-Higher and Higher Education), representative of the Representation of the European Union in Ukraine, as well as Svitlana SHYTIKOVA, Coordinator, Director of the National Erasmus+ Office in Ukraine.
Andrii Lotariev, Director of Educational and Scientific Institute of International Education of «KROK» University, presented the results of COOPERA («Integration of dual higher education in Moldova and Ukraine) and INTERADIS («International Students Adaptation and Integration») projects, where «KROK» University acts as the National Coordinator.
Kyiv National University of Economics named after Vadym Hetman presented the results of the project «Open Practices, Transparency and Integrity for Modern Higher Education».
The experience in conducting the project «Open Practices, Transparency and Integrity for Modern Higher Education» was shared by representatives of Lviv Polytechnic National University, and the Ivan Franko Lviv National University presented the results of «Teacher Certification Centers: Innovative Approaches to Teaching Excellence» project.

On 29 May - 02 June 2023, Training and Project Steering Committee Meeting of the EU Erasmus+ project CLIMAN/ «Synergy of educational, scientific, management and industrial components for climate management and climate change prevention" was organized at Netherlands Business Academy.

During the training the workshops combining theory and practical assignments on the following topics were organized:
Visit to company MeesPierson investments (ABN) was organized, during it the aspects of consequences to investors behaviour on the stock markets, introduction to international investors behaviour, influence of SDG’s were discussed.
During the management sessions the partners discussed the state of implementation of the project, Progress report, challenges and plans for the nearest future, submission for the extension of the project, adding of the new partner, difficulties with travels for Ukrainian partners, organizational and content aspects of upcoming project meetings.

Staff will be undertaking Erasmus+ KA171 mobility in the Fall Semester of 2023-2024 Academic Year. Only mobilities in Fall Semester will be considered. Proposed mobility dates will be considerable if they are between 15 October 2023 – 01 February 2024.
How to Apply?
* Erasmus+ Staff Mobility Agreement should be filled out in detail and according to instructions within the document.
**Providing Certification of English Level is not a must; however, it will be considered as extra points in case of meeting the criteria. (Staff can count the results of the English exam they have taken before, or the results of the foreign language exam (CPE, CAE, TOEFL iBT, PTE Academic).

In June 2023, the annual academic ranking of Ukrainian universities «Top 200 Ukraine 2023» was published. According to it «KROK» University is once again ranked among the best private universities in Ukraine!

On May 26 and 27, 2023, Student Council, Dance Theater «K-Dance» of «KROK» University, the most active students of the University and the College visited the city of Poltava and the famous places of Poltava region during a Presidential trip. During the trip, the students heard about many historical events of the period of Ukraine-Rus and the Hetmanate from the guide Volodymyr. Namely, about the foundation of Kyiv, the Battle of Poltava in 1709, the origin of Ivan Mazepa's family coat of arms, the life of writer Mykola Gogol, the struggle for liberation from the russian empire, and much more.
KROK Business School is a co-organizer of the international scientific and practical conference «Creative Industries: Modern Trends» taking place on May 24-25, 2023. The event itself was organized by Borys Grinchenko Kyiv University.
The participation of KROK Business School as a co-organizer of the conference demonstrates the desire to share experience, as the topic of creativity and innovation is one of the priority areas of activity of KROK Business School, where business owners and managers learn to generate breakthrough business ideas and implement them.
The conference addressed and discussed such topics as trends and prospects for the development of creative industries, creative industries in crisis situations, innovative technologies in creative industries, education in the creative industries, creative industries in the social and humanitarian sphere, the role of creative industries in the development of the city and region, journalism and new media as a creative phenomenon. At the plenary session that opened the conference, Oksana Siedashova, Associate Professor at KROK Business School, International Ambassador for Creativity in Ukraine, spoke about creativity during the war.
During the presentation, Oksana Siedashova presented research on what is a source of inspiration during the war, explained how the concept of «creativity» is perceived and used by Ukrainians today, and demonstrated artworks by Ukrainian artists Artem Gusev and Maksym Palenko as examples of artists' reflections on the war and sources of support for the Ukrainian people. We are proud that it is Ukraine that puts a little more meaning into the concept of creativity: creativity as a way to solve serious problems; creativity as a force for unity; creativity as an opening for growth - even in difficult life conditions; creativity as a factor of survival and recovery.
On April 28, 2023, under the patronage of USAID project «Economic Support of Ukraine», the public organization «Ukrainian Marketing Association», the Scientific and Methodological Center of Higher and Professional Pre-Higher Education, as well as the Federation of Employers of Ukraine the International Forum devoted to popularization of dual form of education «Public Dialogue of Business and Educational Institutions» was organized. About 150 representatives of academic and business institutions participated in the event.
The welcoming speech was given by: Iryna Lilyk (president of NGO «Ukrainian Marketing Association»), Snizhana Leu-Severynenko (Ph.D., senior manager of labor potential development of the USAID Project «Economic Support of Ukraine»), Lyudmila Vasilega (director, Center of Competences and Human Capital Development of the Federation of Employers of Ukraine).
The purpose of the event was to discuss practical cases of the implementation of a dual form of education in Ukraine and popularize best practices.
Representative of COOPERA project coordinator from the Academy of Economic Studies of Moldova - Lilia Kovash, Associate professor, spoke about the experience of Moldova in the field of implementing programs under the dual form of education. The event was attended by the partners of the consortium from Ukraine. Team from «KROK» University (Natalia Litvin - First Vice-Rector of the University, PhD, professor and Andrii Lotariev - Director of Educational and Scientific Institute of International Education, Ph.D.), presented COOPERA project to colleagues from educational institutions and employers.
Participants gained international experience from foreign partners from Kazakhstan, Moldova, Latvia, discussed the news, challenges, and shared best practices. Telegram channel for students «DualClud.UA» to popularize dual education among students, and also the European online platform for training mentors, which, thanks to USAID, has been already translated into different languages were presented.
The partners actively participated in the discussions, which highlighted the following topics: «Interaction between employers and educational institutions during the dual form of education» (Dagnia Vanaga, director of Riga State Technical College), «What do employers benefit if they participate in dual training?» (Gunta Tilaka, coordinator of experts of industry councils of the Confederation of Employers of Latvia), «Peculiarities of implementation of dual form of education by agricultural higher education institutions» (Yuriy Danko, doctor of economic sciences, professor, vice-rector for scientific work of Sumy National Agrarian University).

April 21, 2023, «KROK» University team took an active part at the Round Table of Erasmus+ INTERADIS «International Students Adaptation and Integration» project, organized by Odessa National Polytechnic University.
The members of the consortium prepared presentations, in which they highlighted the achievements of Universities within the project implementation period, advantages and current problems that arise during the integration of international students into university life and the educational process. The specifics of cooperation of international offices with students, the development and sending of study invitations in Ukrainian universities were also discussed, the participants took part in discussions regarding the topical issues that arose during the presentations and share valuable experience.
Andriі Lotariev, Director of Educational and Scientific Institute of International Education of «KROK» University, Maryna Yevchenko, Project Manager, and the team of the International Project Office of Educational and Scientific Institute of International Education, took an active part and presented the strategy for the development and improvement of the integration of International students into the active life of the University. Moreover, «KROK» team shared its own experience in helping students to adapt in Ukraine, introduced other partners to the features and advantages of Buddy KROK system, developed by the University, and introduced the newly created co-working area. The admissions campaign and the specifics of creating invitations to study at Ukrainian universities were also discussed.
