The memorandum of cooperation has been signed! "KROK" University officially begins cooperation with the Central Interregional Administration of the Ministry of Justice (Kyiv).

The memorandum provides for a number of promising areas of cooperation: from joint research projects to the organization of specialized courses and internships.

The agreement opens up new opportunities for students and lecturers:

• Internships and work experience in the structures of the Ministry of Justice;
• Joint educational and scientific events;
• Lectures, trainings, and master classes from leading lawyers;
• Real cases and practical experience in law enforcement.

This memorandum opens new horizons for all participants and is another step towards creating a stronger and more integrated legal community in Ukraine!

“KROK Printables” project is an important initiative within “KROK” University and the Educational and Scientific Institute of Information and Communication Technologies (ESIICT), aimed at integrating 3D printing technologies into educational and research processes. This project opens up new horizons for students, teachers, and researchers, providing tools for the practical implementation of ideas, prototype development, and visualization of complex concepts.

The introduction of 3D printing technology through “KROK Printables” has significant potential to enrich the learning experience. Students get a unique chance to turn theoretical knowledge into different objects, which helps them understand subjects better and develop engineering thinking and creativity. From making educational models to developing individual projects, 3D printing is becoming a powerful tool for practical learning in different fields of knowledge.

For scientific and pedagogical staff, “KROK Printables” provides a platform for conducting innovative research and developing a new generation of teaching materials. The ability to quickly prototype allows you to experiment with different designs and ideas, accelerating the process of scientific research and the implementation of its results into practice.

The project is managed by Oleksandr Kurenkov and Hlib Spychak, ensuring its effective organization and alignment with the strategic goals of “KROK” University and the Institute of Information Technologies and Communications. Their activities contribute to the integration of 3D printing technologies.

On May 15, 2025, “KROK” University celebrated its 33rd birthday. The event brought together the large KROK family— lecturers, employees, friends, and partners of the educational institution—in the assembly hall. The warm, family atmosphere, sincere greetings, thanks, and awards made this day truly special.

The festive gathering was opened by the co-founder of “KROK” University, President of the University, Professor, and distinguished educator of Ukraine, Sergii Laptiev. In his speech, he congratulated the staff on the holiday, thanked them for their dedication to their work, and presented honorary awards to the recipients of the “Shana” badge.

Andrii Kuchko, Rector of the University, Professor, also gave a welcoming speech. He emphasized the importance of each member of the team in the formation and development of “KROK” University, expressed gratitude for their daily work and loyalty to the values of the institution.

This day was a wonderful opportunity to honor the best representatives of the KROK community — those who create the future of our University every day. Awards, smiles, applauses – all this created an unforgettable atmosphere of unity and inspiration.

UniRank University Ranking has published its new 2025 ranking, and we are proud to announce that “KROK” University has climbed even higher—we are now in 40th place among all higher education institutions in Ukraine! And among private universities, we are in 2nd place – this is a significant result that we can be proud of.

These are not just numbers – this is recognition of our activity, our media presence, and the work of the entire team. After all, “KROK” University is about a modern approach, the ability to speak to young people in a language they understand, bold decisions, and systematic work in the information space. On May 22–25, 2025, the Career Festival, one of the largest exhibitions dedicated to the professional development of young people and the search for new career opportunities, took place in Kyiv at the Expocenter of Ukraine (VDNH) National Complex. Among dozens of Ukrainian and international companies, educational institutions, and public organizations, the Educational and Scientific Institute of International Education of “KROK” University presented the Erasmus for Young Entrepreneurs (EYE) international mobility program.

The program provides future entrepreneurs from Ukraine with the opportunity to intern with experienced businesspeople in the European Union, gaining invaluable business experience, expanding their professional contacts, and laying the foundation for their own businesses.

During the festival, visitors had the opportunity to learn more about the conditions for participating in the program, submit an application for participation, and talk to the Project Coordinators, who have already professionally implemented more than 20 mobility programs.

Meet the KROK’s Mascot, KROKSI.

The coolest ideas come after the phrase, “What if...”. This idea came to Alina Holtseva, Director of the Student Affairs Department, who was supported in this project by Nataliia Tytarenko, Director of the Advertising and Public Relations Department, and the University Administration, which allowed the idea of creating a mascot to be brought to life.

His name is KROKSI, he is friendly, always smiling, and loves hugs! We are confident that the creation of this fluffy character will not only lift spirits and attract attention, but also make our University even more recognizable on social media, and the University Student Council and the Department of Student Affairs will make every effort to create interesting and vibrant content about student life at the University!

Stickers, shopping bags, and University merchandise featuring our hero are a separate series of branded items that students and others dream of! So we are developing these products, which can be obtained by participating in events organized by the Department of Student Affairs and the University Student Council.​​​​​​​

From March 31 to April 31, 2025, “KROK” University implemented the most ambitious course within the Erasmus+ ArtNoConflict project!

Throughout April, the Erasmus+ virtual exchange project team “The Art of Negotiation and Conflict Resolution (Mediation) / ArtNoConflict” held a course that brought together over 700 participants from Ukraine, Lithuania, Georgia, the Netherlands, and other countries!

Of course, this would not have been possible without the partner teams:

• NGO “Ukrainian Youth Councils Association”

It was a powerful example of intercultural cooperation and innovation in education. Participants not only gained theoretical knowledge, but also had the opportunity to apply their knowledge in intercultural groups: they solved case studies and developed leadership, critical thinking, and effective communication skills.

Most of the students successfully completed the course and received certificates!

“KROK” University continues to actively expand its partnership network in order to create new opportunities for students, teachers, and civil society. Recently, a memorandum of cooperation was signed between “KROK” University, represented by Andriі Kuchko Rector, and the public organization Cossack Guard of Ukraine, headed by Oleksandr Chernysh.

This document confirms the intentions of both parties to develop a long-term partnership in the field of national-patriotic education, security education, youth initiatives, and volunteer projects.

Among the main areas of cooperation is the implementation of the ambitious SDA (Society Development Academy) project. The purpose of the SDA is to promote the comprehensive development of young people by:

• supporting them in choosing their future profession;
• providing opportunities for internships or employment; - realizing their own ideas and ambitions through participation in social, creative, and entrepreneurial projects.

This includes organizing educational, career guidance, motivational, and cultural and educational events; supporting and mentoring young people; and providing access to resources, partnership programs, and platforms for self-development and professional growth.

We are confident that such cooperation will open new horizons for the implementation of educational, patriotic, and social initiatives and will unite efforts for the development of Ukraine
