On April 30, 2024, the selection of students of "KROK" University for participation in the summer school on "Rule of Law", which will be held in Sopot, Poland, within the period from August 28 to September 5, 2024.

Participants of the summer school will have the opportunity to learn more about the European Union, as well as participate in the discussion of Article 2 of the EU Treaty.

We congratulate Solomiia Romasevych, who is majoring in Law, and Oleksandra Presniakova, the student of International Business, on successful passing of the selection. We wish you an interesting and useful week in Poland!

On April 23 and 29, 2024, the selection of “KROK” University students for mobility programs with European HEIs took place.

The selection committee included: Andrii Lotariev, Director of Institute of International Education, Anna Drobyna, Head of International Office, Maryna Skalatska, Project Manager of International Office, Iryna Savchuk, Manager of Students’ Office, Kostiantyn Rebekevsha, Secretary of Student Council.

This time the universities from Austria, Poland, Hungary, Lithuania, Latvia, Italy, Spain, Germany and Turkey were offered to the participants. The selection consisted of three stages, namely:

• Motivation letter;

• B2 level English language test;

• Interview with the selection committee.

Another interesting workshop was held at «KROK» University during one of the practical classes in the discipline «IoT» (Internet of Things), taught by Volodymyr Trotsko, Associate Professor of Department of Computer Sciences, where students had the opportunity to plunge into the world of modern IoT technologies. From the very beginning, a friendly atmosphere was felt and every step in the classroom space was filled with the expectation of new knowledge.

The students were very enthusiastic about looking at and working with various components and devices that are the basis for creating IoT solutions. They had the opportunity not only to see, but also to experience in practice how to connect the physical and digital worlds with the help of programming and electronics.

For each participant, being present in the classroom and acquiring practical skills was not just learning, but a great experience that will undoubtedly be useful to them in the future. This workshop became a bridge between theoretical knowledge and real projects, where everyone could feel like an innovative engineer.

On April 17, 2024, within the framework of the Erasmus program for young entrepreneurs, the Institute of International Education took part in an online meeting with representatives of leading Ukrainian companies CIVITTA, YEP and RadarTech.

"KROK" University was represented by the next project team: Andrii Lotariev, Director of the Institute of International Education; Anastasiia Shepelia, project manager of the Institute of International Education.

The participants of the meeting discussed the prospects for cooperation in attracting new entrepreneurs within the framework of the Erasmus for Young Entrepreneurs program and organizing an active promotional campaign.

On 10-11 April, 2024 within the frameworks of the Erasmus for Young Entrepreneurs program EYE 32nd Networking Meeting was organized at Kaunas, Lithuania.

"KROK" University was represented by Anastasiia SHEPELIA, Project Manager at the Institute of International Education.

During the first day of productive meeting, participants had breakout sessions, where programme rules and promotion ways were disscused. At the end of the first day all the organizations representatives had very interesting guided museum visit.

On the second day, participants had consortia meetings and then visited to Lithuanian companies, offering firsthand insights into the local business landscape.

Many thanks to the Erasmus for Young Entrepreneurs program teams for excellent organization of such a productive networking meeting and to all the participants for their activity!

It is a common practice in the IT community to provide feedback. Therefore, we thank the Department of Student Affairs and Student Council for the opportunity to join the magical universe of art. On March 27, 2024, on the International Day of Theater, the Dance and Theater Performance «GRAND HOTEL KROK» was shown. This event was also attended by degree-seeking applicants of group KN-23 attended this event and shared their impressions.

D.D. Yegoreichenko: «The event was exciting and energetic. Impressive dances aroused great admiration among the audience, creating a unique atmosphere of joy and sophistication. The performance impressed with its choreography and professionalism of the performers!»

I.I. Badylevich: «I really liked the event, which showed a lot of images and very cool dances, I think everyone enjoyed the event."

I'm sure that if I didn't need to work or had a scholarship, I would have joined them myself and taken an active part in all these events. The play «GRAND HOTEL KROK» is impressive, full of interesting dances and talented characters. I watched this performance with enthusiasm and did not even have time to catch those moments when I was sitting with my mouth open in admiration. Very cool and impressive. Thanks to K-dance Theatre and everyone for the opportunity to see it.»
